Talk About Cosmetics - Honeybee Gardens Fall Favorites

I’m super duper proud to be a Honeybee Gardens Ambassador for good reason, their products are absolutely loveable. They make some of the most wonderful pressed eyeshadows I have ever used and their lipsticks are wearable and nourishing while coming in an array of easy to wear shades that can amp up any look. Oh, and their blushes? They’re great, too! In fact, I really do love every single thing I have tried from the brand.

They also happen to be totally cruelty-free and are even certified by PETA. Honeybee Gardens uses only nontoxic and healthy natural ingredients in each of their products; in fact, all of their products have been reviewed by the Environmental Working Group and have a score of 2 or lower.

Today I want to share this look I created using some of their products. I think it’s a perfect daily look for fall and I know I’ll be rocking it lots in the coming weeks.

I started with Mojave, a perfect (but hard to photograph) neutral light-toned brown shade that makes the perfect transition shade, in my crease. I then applied Cairo, a slightly shimmery and super gorgeous plummy brown shade, to my entire mobile lid. I made sure to blend the edges really well so it didn’t look at all harsh. I packed on a little more of this shade to the outer half of my lid for more pop and then used Coco Loco, which is a rich matte chocolate brown, on the outer edge and as a liner.

Left to Right: Mojave, Coco Loco, and Cairo

Their shadows are perfect, seriously. The texture is incredible and so easy to work with. I get absolutely no fallout from any of these shades and love each them all. Mojave has become a go-to shade that I use with any look in my crease. Cairo really makes my eyes pop and I love the way they look when I’m wearing it. And Coco Loco is a perfect essential shadow for any makeup collection.

I used Seduction Truly Natural Lipstick on my lips, which is a lovely neutral rosy toned matte lipstick that is one of those perfect “My Lips But Better” kind of shades. It’s a bit deeper in tone than my actual lips and I love the effect. It’s a very wearable, and comfortable, shade to wear.

I also have a tiny pop of the Complexion Perfecting Maracuja Pressed Blush in Breathless on my cheeks. I reviewed this blush here. I love a pink pop of color on the cheeks in the colder months.

Check out Honeybee Gardens' website by clicking here. You can also find them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You can also check out the Brand Ambassadors page by clicking here.

I also want to know what kind of shades you go for in the fall so leave me a comment below telling me your favorites.

(FTC: I paid for the three eyeshadows with my own money. The blush and lipstick were sent to me by the company. I am not being compensated for this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)

Talk About Cosmetics - Gabriel Cosmetics Eden Palette

Gabriel Cosmetics is a brand that I really love, and for good reason. They have totally pure, healthy products that perform like any of the super popular traditional cosmetics can. Their American made products are formulated with completely natural ingredients and their entire range is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free.

I recently got my hands on their Eden Palette, part of the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection, a gorgeous compilation of soft and feminine cheek and eye colors. With a matte highlight, called Veil, and a delicate pink blush, Serenity, and four lovely eyeshadow shades this palette is all you need this spring to create a fresh and flirty look. This palette setup is also good for those of us on the go. Simply toss this beauty in your makeup bag and you’ve got a complete look during any vacation or trip.

The eyeshadows in this palette are Trinity (neutral matte beige), Mercy (warm shimmering copper), Genesis (tender brown with shimmer) and Reign (a soft cocoa with shimmer). I really like each of these shades and find the combination of warm and cool to be perfect for someone with neutral undertones like I have. I find that I can get a lot of different looks out of this palette and I love the formula. They’re very soft shades that are so silky, smooth and easy to blend out. They never go on looking too heavy or over the top and instead look effortless and chic.

The matte highlight shades makes a great setting powder/brightener for under the eyes and the blush is the type of color that I absolutely love to wear. It’s a really pretty pink that leans more the cool side of the spectrum and it looks great once applied.

Every single product in this palette wears beautifully throughout the day and doesn’t end up fading or looking patchy. And the palette itself is a great size with a perfect amount of product!

Gabriel De Santino, the genius behind this green beauty brand, is also the mastermind behind ZuZu Luxe (a brand I have yet to try but definitely interests me). Have you tried anything from either brand? I’d love to hear your thoughts and product recommendations! You can check out their website by clicking here

Make sure to check back on Thursday for a post featuring this palette as modeled by me and swatches. See you then!

(FTC: This beautiful palette was sent to me for free for review consideration. I am not being compensated for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)

Talk About Cosmetics - Gabriel Cosmetics Eyeshadow Trios

Gabriel Cosmetics is a really awesome company that creates a broad line of affordable cruelty-free and non-toxic cosmetics and I'm a big fan. Judging from how many of you ask for my thoughts on their products and the brand itself I'm guessing a lot of you are fans too!

I recently got the opportunity to test out all three of their new Eyeshadow Trios, two of which are all matte and the other is shimmery. These trios are set up to be all you need to create a complete eye look with a highlight, lid shade, and crease color. They are completely vegan, gluten-free, and are made up of a short list of healthy ingredients. Want to know what I think about each individual trio? Keep reading!

One of the three palettes really stood out for me and became an absolute favorite and go-to palette and that would be the Classic Trio, a lovely combination of matte nude shadows that are perfect for daily wear. This particular trio features a cool soft pink, neutral deep brown, and warm taupe. Each shade is beautifully pigmented and formulated. These shadows are so rich and buttery. They also apply and blend flawlessly. I'm so in love with this trio and if these shades are the type you gravitate towards I would have to suggest that you place an order right now. You won't be disappointed! These are nude matte shadows at their finest! I have been using this trio almost every time I've worn makeup since receiving these and I have been able to use the three shades in many different ways to come up with various nude and classic looking eyes. It leaves me with a very soft and feminine look that I adore.

The other matte one is the Smokey Trio, comprised of a neutral ivory, cool charcoal gray, and cool soft gray shadows. I'm a bit disappointed with this trio. With the stunning pigmentation of the Classic Trio I was expecting this one to be similar but it is lacking a bit. However, I think this particular trio would be fantastic for makeup beginners or younger girls (or guys!) because it's really hard to go overboard with these shadows. I'm quite fair and I have to do a lot of building to get these shades to show up very well on my skin, with the exception of the charcoal color, which is my favorite of the three. I like using it as a very soft powder liner on days when I want definition without having to do much work.

Smokey Shimmer is the final trio that has a soft pink with platinum shimmer, charcoal black with gold shimmer, and sandy taupe with warm shimmer. I think this trio is the most pigmented of the bunch and the shadows have a really luxurious feel to them. They do have a bit of fallout but nothing too extreme that a powder brush can't sweep away. I personally would never wear only shimmer shadows on my eyes so this isn't a complete palette for me but I love each shade and use them as accent colors with different products. These ones are really fun and I like them a lot!

Are you a fan of Gabriel Cosmetics? I want to know what your favorite products are so leave me a comment and let me know!

Talk About Cosmetics - Red Apple Lipstick Eyeshadow Review

Way back in October of 2012, I posted a review of a couple of gluten free and glam cosmetics from a company called Red Apple Lipstick. Jay Harper, the man behind the brand, had a dream to create a line of safe, healthy, and gorgeous products made from high quality ingredients and in 2007, the dream became a reality. The brand is constantly growing and expanding to include more and more gluten free, paraben free, lead free, soy free, vegan and cruelty free healthy cosmetics that are made in the US.

While the company does include the word Lipstick in their name it doesn't mean lipstick is all they do. Their product offering includes: lipsticks, glosses, lip pencils, eyeshadows, a newly launched mascara, eyeliner, an exfoliating stick and a lip balm called Rallye Balm. They have an awesome selection of shades so everyone can find colored cosmetics that set their heart aflutter.

When I did my first review of Red Apple Lipstick in 2012 I fell hard for their eyeshadow in Twinkle Taupe. The color payoff, texture, and wear absolutely stole my heart and I'm so excited to be able to share my review of their City Starter Palette today. The company offers individual shadows that you can purchase, (they come in pan form so you can put them into a magnetic palette, which is also available for purchase on the website), or pre-designed palettes that come complete with a special Red Apple Lipstick Z-Palette.

For under $70 The City Starter Palette comes with 3 mattes and a shimmer in wearable shades; Porcelain, Iced Mocha, Brownie Points, and Espresso. This palette is great for makeup beginners, or cosmetic addicts looking for the perfect collection of shadows that can be worn every day.

Here is a breakdown of the shades included in the City Starter Palette:
Porcelain is a matte creamy off-white color
Iced Mocha is a shimmery taupe that leans a little on the purple/lilac side
Brownie Points is a matte medium brown that is described as a red based brown but looks neutral on me
Espresso is a matte dark brown

The formula of these shadows is divine. They are beyond creamy and superbly soft. If you're looking for powdery, chalky, dry eyeshadows you might want to look somewhere else because you'll be disappointed in these ones. They feel like silk or cashmere or any other luxurious material you can think of. They apply evenly and blend seamlessly. They wear incredibly well throughout the day, with or without primer. The color payoff is absolutely stunning. These shadows pack a serious punch. Fall out? What's fall out?

I also want to quickly talk about their Professional Angled Eye Brush and Wet/Dry Eye Shadow Brush. I don't know if you know this about me but I'm a big time makeup brush junkie, seriously. I love brushes but I'm actually pretty picky so I'm happy to be able to tell you that I really like these vegan brushes! The synthetic fibers are soft and gentle but firm and effective. I really like the handles as well. The Wet/Dry Brush is great for packing on color with the Angled Eye Brush makes a fantastic liner brush.

Talk About Cosmetics - Honeybee Gardens Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow

Honeybee Gardens is a company dedicated to bringing high quality, healthy, and non-toxic cosmetics to its customers with a wallet friendly price tag. I reviewed their Truly Natural Mascara way back in October of 2011 and am now bringing you my thoughts on their Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow.

I'm a huge fan of mineral makeup but often struggle, like many of you have told me you do, with the mess that loose powders can make but Honeybee Gardens has released an entire range of pressed shadows that help eliminate the fallout. I have seriously fallen in love with the 3 shades I have been testing and highly recommend them!

I received the shades Porcelain (a matte light pink), Canterbury (a matte light dusty taupe leaning on the side of mauve), and Daredevil (a pretty plum shade of purple). These shadows are super soft and buttery without being powdery or difficult to work with. They provide a rich color payoff and blend flawlessly. They are long wearing, even without a primer, and don't seem to crease easily. These are definitely right up at the top of the list of my favorite eye shadows!

They are vegan, gluten free, cruelty free and score a 1 on the EWG Skin Deep Database. They are also eco friendly since they come only in pan form being shipped in a paper sleeve, meaning they don't come in a clunky plastic package. This means you either have to purchase a reusable palette from the company or something like a Z Palette. Another point I need to make is that these shadows are completely affordable at only $8.99 each!

I'll be using these shadows in upcoming "Get the Green Look" posts soon so keep an eye out!

Talk About Cosmetics - Alima Pure Delicious Summer

Oh Alima Pure, I love you. It's no secret to you, or any of my readers, but I felt the need to profess my love for you again in honor of your brand new Delicious Summer collection. Beginning today the limited edition Summer 2013 collection is available for you to purchase here and at select retailers worldwide. The collection has a $45 value and retails for $36.

This gorgeous warm weather ready collection features two eyeshadows and a blush including:
Milkshake Eyeshadow – Creamy beige with silver sparkles
Coffee Frappe Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow – Medium golden brown with golden shimmer
Strawberry Lemonade Luminous Shimmer Blush – peachy pink with subtle shimmer

I love color but when it comes to makeup I love using different shades of neutrals, mostly browns, on my eyes so I really love these two shadows. Coffee Frappe is packed with golden shimmer and even though Milkshake has silver shimmer in it I feel like it comes off as more of a matte on the skin. They are both lovely, very wearable, and pair together perfectly.

Strawberry Lemonade Luminous Shimmer Blush is a knockout for the warmer months. It is VERY pigmented so I suggest using a light hand to apply if you are fair or light skinned like me. The color is very flattering and would look great on most skin tones. The shimmer is very subtle so you don't have to worry about looking like a disco ball.

In the photos above I'm wearing Milkshake all over the lid and Coffee Frappe lightly blended into the crease as well as along the top and bottom lash line. I'm also wearing Strawberry Lemonade on the cheeks. The look I went for is very light and wearable but you can certainly use these shades to do something a little more dramatic.

As always, all Alima Pure products are totally natural and cruelty free.

You can check out the Delicious Summer collection by clicking here. You can also visit Alima Pure on Facebook or Twitter.

Talk About It - Alima Pure Black Tie Gala

One thing that never fails to excite me is when I go to my mailbox and discover a mystery package from Alima Pure. What does this package mean, you may ask? It's time for a new collection and I absolutely love and adore Alimas limited edition collections. Wait, let's get real; I really just adore Alima Pure in general, and their newest collection did not disappoint.

Alima Pures Holiday 2012 Collection is all about glamour, and is appropriately named Black Tie Gala. There are two separate parts of this collection, both of which are gorgeous. I really like all aspects of this collection.

The first is Black Tie Gala – Eye, which comes with 4 shimmery shadows that can be combined in many different ways to add a little dazzle and sparkle to any look. For $36 you get 4 full-sized mineral eyeshadows with a value of $50 in an Alima Pure signature gift box. These shadows are seriously pretty! They wear well and can be used in a subtle or dramatic way.

The Black Tie Gala Eye set includes:
Bijou – shimmering champagne
Minauderie – warm bronze
Ball Gown – mossy green with gold shimmer (while not a shade I would normally be drawn to, I'm really enjoying this eyeshadow since it's stunning!)
Stilettos – deep, smoky purple with silver shimmer

The second piece of the limited edition Holiday puzzle is Black Tie Gala – Face, which is comprised of a matte blush, shimmer eyeliner, and shimmer powder. This set also retails for $36, and has a retail value of $45. These 3 products go perfectly with the eye set, although they look lovely on their own as well.

The Black Tie Gala Face Set includes:
Chandelier Highlighter – peach shimmer
Red Carpet Blush – warm matte rose (which is an absolutely beautiful blush that is super flattering and wearable. I'm in love with this blush!)
Tuxedo Eyeliner – very deep, blackened purple with shimmer

Alima Pure has created yet another collection worth looking into it. You can visit Alima Pure online by clicking here.

(FTC: Alima Pure sent me samples of these products to try out and review. I am not being compensated to write this review. All thoughts and opinions, as always, are my own and honest.)

Talk About It - Monave Mineral Makeup (+ closed Giveaway!)

I'm really happy to bring you another review of a cosmetics company and their wonderful mineral makeup review today. Monave Mineral Makeup is the brainchild of Deborah Bilezikian, who had the dream of creating a line of simple, high quality, and high performance products. To read about the journey that Deborah took to create Monave click here

All Monave products are made using the highest quality mineral makeup ingredients. Their formulas are completely gluten free and 95% of their products are vegan (the other 5%, like their potted and liquid glosses, contain beeswax – the only animal byproduct they use!). You will never see parabens, dyes, or bismuth oxychloride in the ingredient list of any Monave products nor will you need to worry that their products have been tested on animals, because they haven't! To check out the ingredients that make up each product you can click here.

I tried out a few foundation products and love all of them! My absolute favorite, however, is the Loose Mineral Foundation in Kerrie. Kerrie is the perfect color for me and I'm so happy that it works so well. I have fair skin that has a slight yellow undertone. The website says that it's perfect for those who have a "peaches and cream complexion". The coverage this mineral powder provides is really remarkable as it completely evens out the skin tone without making my face look flat. It seems to last all day and stays looking nice. It works well on it's own or over a liquid or cream foundation, which is something I like to do when I want an impeccably flawless finish.

I also tested out the Cream Foundation and Vegan Mousse Foundations in the color Claire. Claire is a light shade that works for those with neutral or pink undertones. I said above that I have a yellow undertone but it's very slight so I can also use shades like this one. The Cream Foundation is a little heavier and thicker than the Vegan Moisture Mousse but both formulas are really great. Both varieties apply easily, blend well, and look nice on the skin while providing coverage. They both sink into my skin as opposed to sitting on top so it doesn't ever look like I'm wearing a mask or too much makeup. I like both a lot but I'd say that I've been reaching for the cream version more often since it feels so silky smooth and since my Mom raided my makeup stash (which she is more than welcome to do as often as she wishes) and fell in love with the mousse.

I decided to choose a very neutral, every day wear kind of eye shadow to test out from Monave and ending up going for Crème Brulee. This shade is completely matte and works wonderfully as a base shade on the lid. It helps cover up redness and allows the eyelid to become a blank canvas, which is the perfect first step in doing any eye look. This is a bit darker than my skin tone so it looks nice on it's own too. The formula is very smooth and easy to blend and work with.

The last product, and the only one I didn't like, is the Mineral Bronzer in the color Gran Marnier. It is totally my fault that I didn't fall in love with this product. There is nothing wrong with the formula, it's just this particular shade doesn't do anything at all for my skin tone. The powder itself is nice and smooth but the color I picked doesn't really show up on my skin. On a brighter note - it's matte, which is a quality I look for in a bronzer.

(Wearing the Cream Foundation in Claire, Loose Mineral Foundation in Kerrie, Gran Marnier Bronzer, and Creme Brulee Eyeshadow)

In addition to mineral makeup, Monave sells a wide variety of other products including facial and body skin care, hair care, kits to create your own products, and they even do wholesale. Deborah believes that "all women deserve high quality, natural makeup, so Monavé has a wide array of shades for all complexions, lifestyles and ages." There is literally a Monave product that is perfect for everyone so check out the website today!

Monave has so graciously offered a DIY Natural Lip Kit for one of you, my lovely readers, to win! To enter to win use the Rafflecopter form below.

Talk About It - Red Apple Lipstick

Fall is the perfect time to play around with makeup. Bolder lips and darker eyes are fun ways to experiment with new looks and I recently got to try a couple of products from Red Apple Lipsticks. I got to pick two products to try so I chose one lipstick (the companies name is Red Apple Lipsticks so I didn't want to skip trying one of their lip products) and an eye shadow. I know you Beauties have been asking me to do more makeup reviews so here it is!

Red Apple Lipstick was created by Texan Jay Adam Harper in 2007 and has only grown since then. All of Harper's products are completely safe and healthy, meaning they are free from parabens, gluten, lead, soy and animal byproducts. Are they also cruelty free and made in the US? You betcha!

The lipstick I selected is Strawberry Lips, which is a gorgeous muted red with a touch of brown in it. It is glitter and shimmer free, which is my preferred type of lipstick finish, although it does have a very subtle shine to it. This shade is wonderfully buildable. It can be worn as a pretty dark pink or a deeper red, with each layer making the look darker. I'm not sure if what I'm about to say is going to make any sense at all but I consider this shade to be a nude red. It's almost the color of my lips, but richer. I can see why this is one of their best sellers! Also, Strawberry Lips is the perfect name for this one since it is reminiscent of the color of ripe strawberries.

As for the formula, you know how sensitive my lips are and this lipstick irritates them a bit but it isn't my typical full-blown reaction so I'm not sure what's going on. My lips are so weird! Anyway, this lipstick is easy to apply and wear. It's not superbly moisturizing but it's not drying either and it's comfortable on the lips. I like wearing it with a balm underneath (which is something I do with most lipsticks).

If you're curious about the ingredients, the following are what make up the lipstick: Ricinus Communis, Candelilla Wax, Shea Butter, Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides, Carnauba Wax, Cera Alba, Sesame Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate from an all natural non gluten source, Almond Oil , Tangerine Peel Oil, Essence of Vanilla, May Contain: Titanium Dioxide ,Manganese Violet, Mica, Iron Oxide.

The star of the show for me is the Red Apple Lipstick Eye Shadow I tried. I chose Twinkle Taupe and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It's an absolutely stunning shade that is a must have in any makeup lovers collection. It is described by the company as a "plum based bronze". It is the perfect shade for amping up any neutral look. It's extremely wearable and flattering. It has a satin finish so it's suitable for all ages. The formula of this shadow is lovely. It's smooth, pigmented, longwearing, and easy to blend. The slogan on the back of the packaging says "Gluten Free Mineral Eye Shadow That Totally Rocks" and I couldn't agree more. This eye shadow really does rock!
The eye shadow is made with: Mica, Zinc Oxide, Silica, Ascorbyl Palmitate. May contain iron oxides, titanium dioxide, chromium, green, and ultra marines.

(Strawberry Lips - 1 coat, Strawberry Lips - 3 Coats, Twinkle Taupe)

Talk About It - MarieNatie Cosmetics

Today I have a couple of great cosmetics to talk about from a Canadian company called MarieNatie. Marie, the founder of MarieNatie Cosmetics, discovered that many products contain harsh and toxic chemicals so she set out to create her own line of healthy, natural cosmetics. She researched, carefully selected ingredients, and tested and retested formulas until she was confident that she had created the best natural cosmetics available.

All MarieNatie Cosmetics are free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes and fragrances, petro-chemicals and phthalates. In addition to creating safe cosmetics MarieNatie is also cruelty free. All of their products are made in Canada.

I got to try out 3 of their products, my favorite of which is a Loose Mineral Eyeshadow in Chocolate. This eyeshadow is made from Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Ultra Silk Mica, Sericite Mica, Kaolin Clay, and Mica. The formula is incredibly smooth, easy to apply, easy to blend, and easy to wear. The color is long lasting and insanely gorgeous! Chocolate is a cocoa brown color with golden shimmer. They have 9 lovely shades but Chocolate was practically made for me! I'm not afraid to say that I'm slightly obsessed.

Next up is one of the most flattering and wearable lip-glosses I have in my collection, which is the MarieNatie Lip Gloss in Sexy Red. This gloss is made of Jojoba Oil, Carnauba Wax, Candelilla Wax, Vitamin E and Vitamin E Acetate, Pomegranate Oil, Sunflower Oil, Grapefruit Seed Oil, Mica, and Essential Oil. It's superbly hydrating, non-sticky, and long lasting. The packaging is almost as lovely as the color. Sexy Red sounds like it might be a bold, deep red but it's actually a sheer slightly rusty orange-red shade that looks very natural on my lips. It isn't overly shiny, and is actually quite subtle. It's absolutely gorgeous and it doesn't irritate my lips in the least bit.

(I'm actually wearing the Chocolate Loose Mineral Eyeshadow and Sexy Red Lip Gloss in this photo)

The last product I got to try out is the Blue Eyeliner, which is my least favorite product. Don't get me wrong, the eyeliner isn't bad, it just isn't phenomenal like the other two products I got to test out. This liner is formulated with Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax, Oxide, and Mica. The problem I have with most natural liners is that they tug, skip and drag but this one is actually pretty smooth. The color is a lovely blue shade and it's very wearable. I just find that I don't reach for this very often, but it is nice and I do like it.

(Swatches of Blue Eyeliner, Sexy Red Lip Gloss, and Chocolate Loose Mineral Eyeshadow)

Overall, MarieNatie Cosmetics are worth trying out. Their products are made of really great ingredients and are high quality cosmetics with a wide variety of gorgeous shades. You can learn more about the company or products by visiting them online, where you can also purchase their cosmetics.

Talk About It - Alima Pure "Let Them Eat Cake" Collection

I really adore Alima Pure and their wonderful mineral makeup and I'm head over heels for their newest limited edition collection entitled Let Them Eat Cake. This collection is comprised of four incredibly unique and wearable shades based on sweet treats we all love to eat. I'm more of a salty girl but I do like to indulge myself in sweets sometimes, especially those designed to enliven the eyes and add a touch of glamour to any look.

I have reviewed two other Alima Pure collections prior to this one and I really loved both but I have to say this is my favorite one yet! I'm a neutral kind of gal but I try to avoid boring neutrals. If you're like me in that regard then this is the set for you! The collection is made up of 4 cake inspired shades that are all zero calorie, guilt free, and 100% natural (as are all Alima Pure products).

First up is Angel Food, which is a golden honey shade with very fine shimmer to it. This shadow would work well as an all over color or even a highlight shade.

Next is Strawberry Shortcake, a pale pink with fine shimmer and larger gold shimmer. This color is gorgeously sparkly and looks great on inner corners.

Red Velvet, the stand out of the collection in my opinion, is the most amazing medium brown shade that has a red undertone and touch of shimmer. I love red-based browns and this is the best one that I have ever come across. It makes a lovely contour shade.

Last but not least is the shade Devil's Food, a deep, dark brown shimmery shadow which is great for lining or adding to the outer corners for a sultry effect.

As with the other collections I have tried, these 4 shadows are very pigmented, easy to work with, and long lasting. A little goes a very long way with these products and I absolutely think Alima Pure is worth a look. You can apply these shadows dry for a more subtle look or wet for more drama.

This collection is worth every penny and I have a feeling this collection won't last long so hurry to checkout if you're interested. The set comes in Alima Pure's signature chocolate bag for only $32. $2 from each sale of this collection will be donated to the Global Fund for Women.

(FTC: Alima Pure so generously provided me with deluxe samples for review consideration. I am not being compensated to write this review. All thought and opinions, as always, and my own and honest.)

Talk About It - Painted Earth (Part 2: Cosmetics)

Happy Thursday, Beautiful! I'm excited to be here to bring you part 2 of my Painted Earth special. Today were talking about their cosmetics, so lets get started. If you missed part one you can click here.

My new daily foundation is their Perfect Every Thyme Baked Mineral Foundation. This product is a baked mineral foundation that provides just enough coverage to look naturally flawless. I've been using it every day and I couldn't be happier with it. I have the color Dover Beige and it blends perfectly into my skin. It doesn't settle into lines or just sit on top of my face. It looks like it melts into my skin to help minimize the appearance of pores and even out my skin tone. I prefer lighter foundation, so this is perfect for me. It is build-able but I feel like those of you who prefer heavier coverage won't enjoy this as much as I do.

It makes my skin feel so soft and it applies like a dream! It's so easy to use and it's got a lot of great ingredients including mica, jojoba and safflower oils, lavender, thyme, green tea, vitamin e, rosemary and magnolia bark. This would be perfect for any skin type from oily to dry and even sensitive. It doesn't clog my pores or make me look "made up". This product lets my skin breathe and lets it look like my skin, only better. The compact comes with quite a bit of domed product too, so it will last a while, even with daily use.

The Ultimate Volume Mascara is a fantastically awesome mascara. It is a fiber-based mascara, which means that the formula has fibers that attach to the ends of your lashes to make them longer. My lashes aren't particularly short and stubby but they aren't super long and luxurious either, however, when I wear this mascara you would never know that. This stuff makes my lashes look like falsies and I love it! It's great for adding length and drama.

To finish up Part 2 of Painted Earth we are going to talk about the Loose Mineral Eye Shimmer that I have in Tan-Talizing, a color that I would call a gold/copper hybrid. I really like this color, for the simple fact that it makes my blue-gray eyes look very intense and vibrant. It's a gorgeous, highly pigmented shade and the shadow is really soft and blendable. It wears well and lasts all day. If you pat the color on there is hardly any fall out and it's milled so finely that it's got a subtle shimmer as opposed to chunky glitter. This is a very nice mineral eye shadow.

If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments section and if you're curious about any Painted Earth products check them out online.
